this will allow you to easily input the modification codes on the title screen

press left once = big block
press down once = 20G (instant drop)
press right once = TLS (piece preview)

if you don't want to play using these options, just allow the game to cycle into the demonstration, then when you return to the title screen none of them will be enabled.

simply use your favorite IPS patcher to patch "2b.u21" and "1b.u22" from tgm2p.zip
both files require patching
