BattleTech - Operation REVIVAL v1.1

Operation REVIVAL is mainly a wepons mod for BattleTech from sega genesis, inspired on in-games description from Mechwarrior 4 and some source books of Battletech franchise. This hack also changes some old sprites and offers a new challenge to the player.

Version 1.2 New improvements are:

- Pulse Laser, Ultra AC/5 and Streak SRM-6 have a new damage boost.
- FASCAM, Flamer, Machine gun array and Pulse Laser have better ammo capacity.

Version 1.1 upgrades are:

- Weapon names are replaced according to their closest resemblance to those described in the battletech source books.
- weapon descriptions were taken from mechwarrior 4.
- Most weapons carry more ammunition.
- All projectiles travel faster.
- The firing range of some weapons has been modified.
- Rapid fire weapons fire much faster at the cost of a slight decrease in damage.
- LMRs (now Streak SRM) fire in automatic mode when holding down the C button.
- Gauss Rifle (now Long Tom Artillery) deals massive damage but fires at a fixed range, so it no longer needs to charge.
- Autoccanon and Flamer fire from the Madcat's right arm.
- Arms doesn’t explode when overcharge weapons.
- Environment elements such lava pits, wall pikes or mines doesn’t damage your mech, but still raises your heat level.
- The item icons on the radar have been replaced with new ones.
- The ammo sprite for the c button has been modified for a new one that resembles an Streak SRM-6 launcher.

How to install:

In the zip file you will find the patch with the most recent version of Operation REVIVAL plus a folder with the previous versions; Just choose the version you want to play and with the help of the Lunar IPS program, install it in your backup copy of Battletech. Don't forget to fix the rom's checksum once the patch installation is finished.
