What this hack does:

This hack restores the music tracks from the original Famicom version of the game. The newer NES tracks are considered less than impressive and are inconsistant with the style of the music tracks from the original Famicom version.


Differences of the 3 patches included:

--- Zanac-FC-Music-Restoration - v.final ---
This one restores the original music tracks from the Famicom version to each level of the game. The NES exclusive secrets are intact so you can still hear the alternate tracks for level 10 and gameover as an easter egg bonus. Most of the music from the NES version are still playable in the soundtest. 

--- Zanac-Music-Restoration-Deluxe - v1.3 ---
This one combines the best tracks from both Famicom and NES versions to fit each level for a deluxe playing experience!

--- Zanac-Zanac-NES-FDS - Music Restoration Deluxe - v1.3 ---
I've also included this patch to apply the Deluxe tracks to Makimura Manufacturing's amazing 'Zanac/Zanac - FDS/NES + SRAM' hack. This patch applies the Deluxe tracks to the NES version of the hack only and leaves the FDS version intact. Instructions to apply this patch:

1) Get Makimura Manufacturing's patch: https://www.romhacking.net/hacks/2624/
2) Apply Makimura Manufacturing's patch to create the 'Zanac/Zanac - FDS/NES + SRAM' rom.
3) Apply 'Zanac-Zanac-NES-FDS - Music Restoration Deluxe - v1.3.ips' to the 'Zanac/Zanac - FDS/NES + SRAM' rom.
