Duncan's Thin Ice Based on an official NES/Famicom port by Nice Code / Waixing, of the 1986 Mattel Intellivision game, done for the Intellivision Flashback series of Plug and Play consoles. The specific version being restored here appears on some bootleg multicarts. It is titled "Thin Ice (Hack)" but does not star Duncan the Penguin. There are also two versions titled "Horrible Area." One is about zombies. This graphics hack by Pangent Technologies restores Duncan the Penguin to the game, with redrawn graphics similar to his Intellivision appearance. Rather than the original dancing penguins, other animals have been added. More Challenging! More Fun! Duncan is on the loose! Duncan is a penguin who loves to skate on thin ice, much to the dismay of the other Penguins. As Duncan skates, he weakens the ice; if he skates completely around another animal -- KER-PLASH! -- the ice collapses and the animal falls into the pond. Duncan has only two worries actually: the Sea Lion that loves to bounce him on her nose and the Polar Bear who likes to bat him around. To clear a level, skate in a square around the seals, walruses, polar bears, and other penguins until they drop below the ice. Watch out for the Sea Lion! Catch the left shark (who pops out of the water) for extra speed. Watch out for the right shark. Duncan will clear the level with a Zamboni inbetween rounds.
