This may have been due to its inspiration, Secret of Mana, which uses the same control scheme. However, unlike Secret of Mana, Evermore only allows the player to change the buttons for exploration. This led to the development and release of this project. This patch is compatible with assassin17's bug fixes. Please note that if you wish to use his "Unsaved stat boosts fix" under any circumstances, you must start a new game. http://assassin17.brinkster.net/soe_patches.htm ------------------------------------ Changelog v1.00 (Jun 23, 2019) - Swapped the function of the A and B Buttons for all menu controls. - Forced game to default to control config 2 upon loading a save. - Cleaned up A and B Button reference text to match new functions. - Changed B Button graphics to A Button in save, alchemy setup, and action menus. ------------------------------------ Known Issues - When starting a new game, controller config 1 is still turned on for exploration. Players are recommended to change it manually just once. Each time a save game is loaded, the buttons will default to config 2 as intended.
