This Patch contains the first episode from Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (U) version translated to Portuguese-Brazilian language. It was adapted to minimized the diacritical charactes not available in the American (U) version. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Patch: HOW TO INSTALL PHOENIX WRITE EPISODE 1 PT-BR TRANSLATION ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. WHAT YOU NEED: First you need these 2 things: a. The Nintendo DS or 3DS console AND b. The original "0127 - Phoenix Wright - Ace Attorney (U)(Legacy).nds" ROM. Yes, I have these two things! You can pass to step 2 below. No, I don’t have this two things. At the momment, you need to forget it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. DOWNLOAD THE THINGS: You will need to download two things: a patch and a tool patch. 2.1. A patch is a ".xdelta" special file that you can add to your game ROM with a X-Delta UI tool patch. 2.2. A X-Delta UI was created by Joshua MacDonald, and is a tool patch capable of generate a new binary archive using two files: http://www.romhackers.org/modules/PDdownloads2/singlefile.php?cid=8&lid=181 2.3. Download "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney - Episode 1 Pt-Br" here: http://www.romhacking.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. INSTALLING: Patching: 3.1. We assume that you have the "ROM" file of your game. If no, don’t ask me, because I can’t help you. The ROM of your cartridge is a NDS file. The ROM must be the [U]-Version of the game. 3.2. We want to patch our rom, so we have to click on the tab "Apply Patch" (It should be marked in the default setting) 3.3. Click on the first button "Open" right of the "Patch" option. Search for the "[NameOfFileYouDowloaded].xdelta" file that you get on the Step 2.2. 3.4. Click on the second button right of the "Source File" option. Search for the "clean" [U]-version NDS file ROM of your Phoenix Wright. 3.5. Click on the third button of the "Target File" option. Choose a place on your harddisk to save the patched ROM. Obs. The final patched file need the "NDS" extension. If no, just rename the patched file to add ".nds" behind the given filename. 3.6. Get it on your console flashcard or use an emulator to play the game! Have Fun!! P.S.: To get the full potential of this software, it’s highly recommended that you use a "real" Nintendo DS or 3DS.
