~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Kidou Keisatsu Patlabor Mobile Police Patlabor English Translation Patch Version 1.0 Created by Vice Translations part of Kitsune's Den http://vice.parodius.com/ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CREDITS ----------------- Kitsune Sniper Game hacking, font insertion and preliminary translation. Email: kitsune_sniper [at] hotmail [dot] com Haeleth Main Translator Project History: ----------------- December 24, 2003 I don't know when I started it, nor I care. All I know is that the mission data is translated. Go squishy tiles [TM]! And yes, Spinner, I'm using that font again. :) Version History: ----------------- Version 1.0, December 24, 2003 [1788 bytes] All that Goto Kiichi tells you before a mission is translated. That was all that needed to be done. HOWEVER, there's a bug. If you lose a mission and decide to continue, you'll be sent to the training area. Once you exit it, you'll get to Goto Kiichi once more, but some of the text he'll spit out may be garbled. This is due to space restraints and the fact that the FDS barely has space for all letters. What's left ----------------- Nothing... or so it would seem. Game Controls: ----------------- Left - Makes your character move to the left. Right - Makes your character move to the right. Up - Makes you enter a doorway. Down - Makes you crouch. Select - Does nothing. Start - Pauses the game, and lets you choose between the baton and the gun. A Button - Makes you jump. Depending on the time held, you jump higher/farther. B Button - Makes you shoot or use the baton; Also, you must know that Noa and Ohta are slightly different. Noa's Labor, Alphonse, has ten energy units and jumps very high, but her gun is weak and only shoots one straight bullet. Ohta's Labor is much stronger, and he uses a three-way shotgun, but he can't jump as high and has two less energy units than Noa.
