#Translation Notes from Filler#

Script Changes

Below is the final script used in the game and the original 
translated script. Some changes were made to more easily
accommodate the available space, and also to make the script more 
entertaining and easier to understand. I don't really know the 
significance of washing your feet and taking abacus lessons, but 
calling it quits after getting your butt handed to you by a kid 
certainly makes sense. For posterity, both version of the script 
are included below.

"Ms. Sakurako!"
Ms. Sakurako turned around.
"Oh, Mr. Iwayama..."
He looks strange!

Mr. Iwayama hit her
with pow-gas!
"I'll be taking you for myself."
Cokey hears his teacher's
scream!
"That was the teacher's 
voice just now..."
Ms. Sakurako was
abducted by Team-Evil.
What will you do?
I'll save her no matter
what!
Hang on Teach! I'm
on my way!

Downtown

Ms. Sakurako is not here...
You'd better go to the park if you want to save her.

I lost to some kid.
Maybe I should wash my feet and

Translation Notes:

"Team Evil" in the original script is "jyaaku-dan" or evil-dan. 
This is similar to rocket-dan (Team Rocket) from Pokemon, hence 
"Team Evil". During translation I ran across a message board post 
about this game where someone wrote that "jyaaku-dan" was even 
cheesier than "rocket-dan" which lead to my translation, "Team-evil".
