==The Legendary Starfy (GBA) English Patch==

This is a FREE, UNOFFICIAL translation of Densetsu no Stafy made entirely by dedicated fans. If you paid for this, you got scammed!
The Legendary Starfy, or Densetsu no Stafy, is the first in a series of five games created by TOSE in 2002 for the GameBoy Advance.
Aside from the fifth game in the series, none of the other 4 games have ever been localized or officially released in the West (as
of writing this readme).

Please support the Starfy series, TOSE, and Nintendo by purchasing official merchandise, including an official translation if one
is ever released.

==Patch Information==

You will find 3 patches inside this file, all of them cosmetic changes to the game. The first is "The Legendary Starfy", the translated
title of the game, which uses fan-names for characters who do not have official localized names. The second is "The Legendary Starfy
Origins", a fan name for the first game in the series that also uses fan-names for characters. The last patch is 'Densetsu no Stafy (ENG)",
a patch that directly translates the title and characters, even those that have localized names (i.e Moe going by "Kyorosuke").

==How to Use the Translation Patch==

1. Locate the patch you wish to use (it should have the file extension ".bps")
2. Use a program like "Flips" to patch a "Densetsu no Stafy (Japan)" rom
 -If you don't want to download a separate program, you can use an online bps patcher like hack64.net 
3. For those using Flips (and assumedly other bps patchers), first select the bps file you wish to use and then select the
"Densetsu no Stafy" rom
 -(Make sure you have a correct dump of the original Japanese ROM, and that it hasn't been modified in any way).
4. Once the patch has been applied successfully, you're now ready to play the game in English! You can use a Game Boy Advance emulator
of your choice, or, if you have the proper hardware, you can play it on the handheld or console of your choice.
