I. Introduction

Mercs, called Senjou no Ookami II in Japan, is a top-down arcade shoot-'em-up developed by Capcom, which was ported to the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in 1991.

The game offers two different modes, each with its own unique scenarios, both centered around an elite group of mercenaries known as the "Mercs". The arcade mode allows to play as a Merc on an emergency rescue mission to save the former President of the United States in the fictional country of Zutura. Meanwhile, the original mode lets you control a party of Mercs to prevent the launch of long-range ballistic missiles newly developed by the fictional country of Quira. II. Translation Description

This patch contains the Indonesian translation of Mercs. All texts, except the HUD texts and final "Congratulations" text on original mode, are translated.


III. How to Apply the Patch?

1) Please ensure you have the original ROM of the game. The ROM I used is "Senjou no Ookami II ~ Mercs (World)".
2) Use LunarIPS or similar software to apply the patch on the ROM. CAUTION: Ensure to fix checksum after applying the patch or use the autofix checksum function in your emulator.
3) Enjoy the game in Indonesian!

Mercs, dikenal juga sebagai Senjou no Ookami II di Jepang merupakan gim arkade bergenre top-down shoot-'em-up yang dikembangkan oleh Capcom, dan dirilis untuk konsol Sega Genesis/Mega Drive pada 1991.

Gim ini menawarkan dua mode berbeda, masing-masing dengan skenario yang unik dan mengetengahkan sekelompok tentara bayaran elit bernama "Mercs". Dalam mode arkade, Anda bermain sebagai seorang Merc dalam misi penyelamatan darurat untuk membawa kembali mantan Presiden Amerika Serikat dengan selamat dari pergolakan di negeri fiktif Zutura. Sementara itu, mode orisinal memberikan Anda kontrol atas sekelompok Mercs dalam misi mencegah peluncuran rudal balistik jarak jauh yang baru dikembangkan oleh negara fiktif Quira. II. Deskripsi Terjemahan

Patch ini berisi terjemahan bahasa Indonesia untuk gim Mercs. Semua teks diterjemahkan ke bahasa Indonesia, kecuali teks HUD dan teks "Congratulations" pada akhir mode orisinal.


III. Cara Mengaplikasikan Patch

1) Sediakan ROM asli gim ini. ROM yang digunakan adalah "Senjou no Ookami II ~ Mercs (World)" yang bekerja baik di regional AS maupun Eropa.
2) Gunakan LunarIPS atau perangkat lunak sejenis untuk mengaplikasikan patch pada ROM asli. PERHATIAN: Pastikan untuk fix checksum setelah mengaplikasikan patch atau gunakan fungsi autofix checksum pada emulator.
3) Selamat bermain gim ini dalam bahasa Indonesia!
