This is an English translation of "Kamen no Ninja: Akakage" for the NES. The game is based on a live-actoin tv show/anime of the same title.

Game Mechanics:
---------------
The game is a action platformer. It has several stages that you can go back and forth.
Controls:
A = Jump
B = Attack
Left/Right = Move
Down = Crouch; enter wells
Up = press it to enter doors and on heart icons
Start = Pause; press SELECT to bring up the item menu, scroll pages by pressing UP or DOWN

Field Items:
------------
White ball = restores HP
Red ball   = not sure... it makes the player blink but it does not give invincibility or invisibility :/

Tomizou:
--------
The guy you meet when entering secret rooms. He gives you weapons and information.
* Tangled Hair = a fast flying projectile
* Coal Dust    = a bomb
* Land Mine
* Boomerang
* Smoke ball   = makes you invulnerable for a few seconds, save it for the final area
* Light ball   = a hit all attack
* Water ball   = unknown effect :/
* Shadow       = doubles your slash range and power, ideal for the final bosses
