Famicom Wars was translated by aka translations 2005-2008.
Famicom Wars was published by Nintendo 1988.
This patch does not intend to take any credit for either of these works.

The original translation of this game by akadewboy was built using a bad
Famicom Wars ROM as a base. The way the ROM was overdumped, and the way the
patch was created, it was possible to patch the correct ROM and notice no
issues other than some small graphics that were unchanged. Regardless, this
patch has been created for use on the correct ROM of Famicom Wars.

This patch is intended for use on a No-Intro verified ROM of Famicom Wars.
The ROM I have has a header of 29F3A0F7, but results may vary due to the
ROM's iNES header. A ROM with any other checksum runs the risk of disabling
the battery save for the game, however, any Famicom Wars ROM that is
196,624 KB in size will likely suffice.

Do not use this patch on a previously patched ROM - it is only intended for
the original Japanese ROM.

This patch has NOT been thoroughly tested - please contact me if there are
issues.
