Radia Menu Translation Beta One by Dayeigth O.K. I just really wanted to release this before September 7th so that maybe someone will actually notice it. So that being the case its pretty bareboned. Whats done: Most of fighting menu, travel menu and inventory menu. I have translated some other things too, but some have not yet been implemented. What I plan to accomplish: All menu's and items. I don't speak Japanese and my dictionary isn't that good. Perhaps the awesome intro may get translated to. I will also be writing a Walkthrough for the game, to be released in the next release. Why is Radia a bitch to translate: Doesn't work on Nesticle .40, and in .34 it doesn't load the font into the patterns. Thanx a zillion to chr2pcx!!! Also, 3 seperate font databases, 2 that were English prior to the hack. Took a while to find the hex that represented what. Accents!! Unlike the Godsend ff3j that gives you two spaces per accent, this bitch has fucked up coding that makes it tough to even surch for, and only one byte! Oi vey! Why Radia? Play for one minute, and just see how you get to fight!! Good graphics, kinda bad sound, low learning curve, but picks up around the first hour, after you get your third companion, where I'm at. Help wanted: If I can get one good/fluent Japanese translator, I'll also then take another rom editor. BTW I _would not_ be project leader, "power" would be shared equally. 'Cept I get to keep where your friend says "Oi!". :) Props: Emunews guy for his site, archaic-ruins also, whoever coded pcx2chr, and Demi for the Konami World translation. Zophar's message board for almost intelligent discussion. Links: www.digivill.net/~dayeight www.connix.com/~rybread ftp.etext.org/pub/Zines/BeyondLost dayeight@shoelace.digivill.net
