Eggerland: Meikyuu no Fukkatsu 
Translation Patch v1.0

This is a complete English translation patch for Eggerland: Meikyuu no Fukkatsu.

The Western release of Adventures of Lolo 1 was partially based on this game.
However, the map was replaced with a linear series of levels, and the four gods
and the final battle sequence were removed.  These features have never appeared
in a Lolo/Eggerland game outside of Japan.


INSTRUCTIONS
------------
1. Get a copy of the "Eggerland - Meikyuu no Fukkatsu (Japan)" (No-Intro) or
  "Egger Land - Meikyuu no Fukkatsu (J) [!]" (GoodNES) ROM file.

2. Get an IPS patcher, such as Lunar IPS.

3. Use the patcher to apply "eggerlandmnf-1.0.ips" to the ROM file.

OPTIONAL: *After* patching, apply "eggerlandmnf-password.ips" to the ROM file.


ENGLISH PASSWORD PATCH
----------------------
By default, the translation patch leaves the password system in hiragana to
allow the use of existing passwords. For those who prefer passwords with English
characters, a separate password patch "eggerlandmnf-password.ips" is included.
This patch should be applied *after* the main translation patch.

The game has 2 secret built-in passwords which form sentences in Japanese, so
the password patch also updates these to make sense in English:

Debug Mode: HOW-CAN-I-GET-THERE?
- Original: "Show me how to search for a place I'd like to go."
- On the map screen, hold select and use the D-pad to warp to any room.
- The puzzle creator for the current room is indicated by a 3-letter code:
  GSX.Suga, Miya Aoki (HNY), FLZ.Kanai, or ZAP.Kanazashi.
- A normal password can also be entered after enabling debug mode.

Final Boss: KANAZASHI-IN-CUSTODY
- Original: "Kanazashi escaped and was arrested by the police."
- Hideki Kanazashi is the composer and one of the puzzle creators.

Aside from the 2 secret passwords, old passwords can be converted to the English
system by comparing the password input layouts and using the characters in the
same positions as the hiragana.
