// Non-Directional Translation // 4/28/07 // Gundemonium What is this game? ------------------- This is one of Platine Depositif's first games. Even for one of their earlier games, this game is hard! We have translated the story images in the game; enjoy. NOTE: THIS PATCH IS ONLY GOOD FOR 1.11 Background infomation ------------------------ In the 18th century, humanity obtained the Philosopher's Stones, the Matrix. A suicide mission was sent to the Fountain of Yorld to obtain them. Returning successfully, they were hailed as heroes, and the age of prosperity they ushered in was known as the "Alchemic Revolution". However, the route leading to the Fountain of Yorld, designated space-time sector 1358, was a direct connection to hell, Kepolit. After all, the Fountain of Yorld itself was in the depths of hell. 17 years later. As prophesied, the Demonium order invaded. Humanity used the power of the matrix to oppose that against which it stood no chance. Those who manifested the power of the matrix in order to resist the order were the Matrix Masters. It was believed this plan was successful and we avoided destruction, but were that the case we would need no saviour now. Only six philosophers' stones were brought back, but the 7th demonium, "Gundemonium", eventually appeared. The numbers don't fit. The story doesn't match. But there was no use in lamenting the inevitable. Complaining would only cheapen the scene of despair before mankind. Mankind created an artificial matrix using human souls as its base. This was called Elixirel, the Chrome Matrix Proxy. And, somehow, they pulled through. Hooray. But, at the end of the 18th certury, all cause for celebration vanished. Elixirel, created to resist the Gundemonium, was absorbed by the Gundemonium and made to turn against humanity. But, thanks to the Rosenkreuz foundation, she was swiftly dealt with, with an amazing lack of complications. What are these files? --------------------- gundead.exe <- Translated file hspxa.dll <- Window Mode dll (Optional; back up the original dll) readme.txt <- you're reading it now Hey! You gave us a bad patch! It crashes when I try to play it! ----------------------------------------------------------------- No, it works fine. You'll need the dll that's included in this archive that will force the game to run in windowed mode. Sorry. Hey! I hear the music playing, but where's the window OR I want to play this windowed!? --------------------------------------------------------- Ouch. Apparently, your graphic card sucks. You'll need the program D3Dwindower to get the game to work correctly (http://www.geocities.jp/menopem/ the program is the first link).Don't let the Japanese scare you, it's really simple to set up. Just extract it to a folder, click on the plus sign and navigate to the Gundemonium directory. Choose the Gundemonium.exe and then click on the newly-formed entry. Press enter to boot up the configuration screen. For the two boxes on the left, type in 640 and 480. Then click on the second tab. In the box on the bottom, clear all the check marks. Click OK and click on the "play" icon in the toolbar. Then double-click on the Gundemonium entry. The game should run now. HOLY CRAP! IS IT SUPPOSED TO BE THIS FAST!? -------------------------------------------- Ahaha. No, it's not supposed to be. Apparently, the game was not designed to be run as a window. However, you can play the game normally at 30 FPS. I hear that you can either slow it down on 60 FPS or speed it up on 30 FPS.
