Thank you for downloading the English patch of Akuji the Demon.  We are proud to
bring you our very first 100% complete translation, from the text right down to
the smallest graphic.  Some care was taken to make the editions as true to the
original as possible.  There were some places where the language was too hard to
convey in English, either due to the "catch phrase" nature of it, or perhaps a 
bit too complicated for us to comprehend fully (God-forbid x_x).  In those cases
we'd like to think the spirit of the message was conveyed as accurately as
possible.

Buster has given our group permission to edit specific portions of the game, and
allowed us to distribute only certain parts with permission.  In order for you
to patch the game, you must have first already downloaded it from his website.

You'll need an LHA extractor to decompress.  I suggest WinRAR or PowerArchiver.

Very small portions of the game we did not expressly seek written permission to
translate, namely the intro, ending, and item sequences stored in the EXE file.
It is assumed in good faith that permission to translate these were implied.
