LSF (also known as Chinese Paladin, or the short file name PAL), is arguably the most famous Computer Role-Playing Game in the Chinese-speaking world. With its earliest version released in 1995 by Softstar Entertainment, the game has been enjoyed by tens of thousands of players worldwide throughout the decade.

This is a project to translate the full version of The Legend of Sword and Fairy into English.
The 2001 remake version of the game will be used as the basis.

The Legend of Sword and Fairy has since grown into a cultural phenomenon. So far, four sequels and prequels, a spin-off, an MMORPG, and two TV live-action adaptations have been made. August 19, 2010: I've made the First Trailer for the LSF English Version! Have a look here (or here if you are a poor soul from China who cannot access YouTube). Note that the translation shown in the trailer is by no means final. Actually because of space constraints, sentences had to be shortened. This will not be the case once problems in the programming code are sorted out. I'm still working on that.
June 9, 2010: Encountered bugs in the programming code. Trying to locate the problems. I have almost all the rough translations, but I need time to get the tools working. If anyone has knowledge of the New PAL scripting system, help is very appreciated.
April 29, 2010: Back in business. I was too busy with other issues, but now have time to continue this project. For those who asked for the tools: I will release the tools when they are ready.
