1.Guardian of Paradise
----------------------
Guardian of Paradise is a neat, if somewhat short, little Zelda
clone by an indie developer named Buster. Half the fun of the
game is figuring out what the various powers do and how to use
them best, so I won't go spoiling much in here. Suffice it to
say, though, that the game is a lot of fun, and is surprisingly
deep for something so simple at its core.

Note that the included installer will work on both the initial
release of the game and the patch that's available for download
at Buster's website. If you're installing over the initial release
it will install the upgrade for you; all that was changed in the
new version was a fix for people having keyboard troubles. If you
find that the new keyboard setting doesn't work for you, please
edit the "input" line in the included system.ini file. When in
doubt, use "0" as its value instead of "3".

5.Application Instructions

First, download Guardian of Paradise and extract the contents of the
.zip file to a directory.It can be found at the following address:

(Be sure to take a look at the rest of Buster's site, too, he's made
some other nifty stuff, too!)

Simply run the included "Guardian of Paradise Translation Installer.exe"
file on a clean Japanese installation of the game and you should be
all set! If the installer reports an error, for whatever reason, make
sure you're patching over a clean installation.

If you have saves that you wish to retain, simply copy the "save*.dat"
files from the /data folder into your new installation after applying
the patch.
