PS2 Standard Daisenryaku: Lost Victory - v0.60 Patch May 18, 2012
By Nebelwurfer HQ
The patch translates all of the Campaign Scenarios on the Victory Path
(Marita, Barbarossa, Typhoon, Blau, and Tunisia). Thus it is now possible
to play the game to completion. The remaining scenarios in the Defeat
Path continue from 1943 to 1945, however the outcome once you enter
the defeat path is preordained regardless of how well you perform.
For those having difficulty understanding the game, I have created
an on-line manual that may help. It is located at:
http://www.knology.net/~mackdraper/SD_Lost_Victory/Manual/SD_Lost_Victory_Manual.htm
Using the Patch File
To use the patch, first get the PS2 Standard Daisenryaku: Lost Victory ISO file.
When you open it up with 7-Zip or some other iso utility, you will find
two files: a small .mds file (4K) and a large .mdf file (3.1Gb) 3,347,578,880 bytes.
Get ImageDiff from http://ajax16384.dremora.com/ImageDiff.rar Then,
use ImageDiff to apply the patch to the .mdf file.
Run ImageDiff GUI. Place the patch file in the patch field, the original .mdf
file in the Foreign Image field, and the new translated .mdf file that you want
to create in the New Image field. After the patch completes, you can run the
new .mdf file with a PS2 emulator like pcsx2. However the bios should be Japanese
in order to get the image to load and run.
