=== Choro Q2 English Translation v0.01 by M. Z. === -------------------------------------------------------------------- * This patch translates to English the game Choro Q2 for the original PlayStation. * It was hacked and translated by me, M. Z. * If you want to read more about my possible future projects, I have a blog here: http://www.mz-blog.com.ar/ * If you want to report bugs, email me at: mauzus@gmail.com === Instructions === 1. Get an ISO of Choro Q2. 2. Use PPF-O-Matic to apply the PPF patch to the ISO. === Changelog === v0.01 (2012-12-23) * Initial release. === History === I noticed Choro Q2 is exactly the same game as Choro Q3, at least if you ignore the different tracks or cars. So, since I had most of the work already done, I decided to translate it. === Known Issues === * After a trial, the text at the top should read "Results", instead of "リザルト". I was not able to find the file for this image, although I found a few files that had "リザルト", but none of them were actually used by the game. * Text-input screen looks really bad. I'm not sure about what to do with it. * My English and Japanese are horrible. === Thanks === * Kingcom, for releasing his "ARMIPS assembler". It's a great tool, and I probably couldn't have made this translation without it. * Gemini, for giving me permission to use his well-known thin font. Also, reading his posts on ROMhacking.net was very helpful to understand many things related to PSX hacking. * rveach, for TIMViewer, still the best tool for editing TIMs (although it doesn't support many of the TIM formats that this game uses. :P) * CUE, for his psx-mode2.exe, which makes updating/adding files in ISOs very easy. * Agemo and zHAOsILi, for their modified PCSX versions. * ROMhacking.net, of course. I got all of the tools and documents thanks to this website. Maybe it will host this patch, too. * Tamsoft, for making Choro Q, Q2 and Q3; some of the most entertaining games of all time.
