A translation by John Osborne January 9 2018 This translates the Playstation game Asuncia to English. Apply the PPF patch to a BIN or IMG disk image with a tool like PPF-o-Matic. It may be applied to a 1-piece image, or the first track of a split image. About the game: An odd sort of RPG, with a simple storyline. Its strategic elements involve fighting your way through a series of randomly generated maps. You earn a score by protecting towns, defeating dungeons, defeating monsters in specific combinations and such. By playing through the Story Mode, you unlock characters and levels for the quick battle mode. Main Controls: X : Item Menu Square : Combo Value Chart Triangle : Map Circle : Main Menu Strategy Tips: Don't spend money on unneeded items. A good supply of healing items is vital. Level Up at the Blacksmith or Mage Guild as soon as it's available. This will minimize the damage you receive and thus you will use less healing items. The Aura Tonic is an extremely good item if used at the right time. It prevents 1 party member from inflicting or dealing damage, but they can still use items. Good for low-defense healers during difficult boss battles. Don't miss the catapult attack. It's best used to kill distant enemy stragglers, or to protect a town that's nearly destroyed. Ammo is scarce though, so choose wisely. One of the best benefits of having a mage in your party is unlimited free warping. Don't' miss this feature in the menu. To get the 'good ending', you have to defeat the boss from every dungeon along the way. It's usually wisest to avoid other monsters in a dungeon and head strait for the boss. If a party member dies, simply go to a town and they will be waiting at the plaza. Elemental arrows are extremely good for defeating large groups of enemies, but mostly wasted in boss battles. Unlocked party characters are saved to the system setting of the memory card and the results of multiple playthroughs are combined into the same file, so don't overwrite it.
