Frequently Asked Questions.

1- How do I apply the patch?
A: On PC, you use the DeltaPatcher program. While on Android, use ROM Patcher, as they come with the patch pre-installed. You will also need a copy of Sakura Wars with the English patch in its latest version 2.1.
To apply using DeltaPatcher, simply open its executable, go to original file and select the first disc of Sakura Wars in English; to avoid errors that sometimes occur, it must be named SAKURA_CD1.BIN, then go to xdelta patch and select the patch named SAKURA_CD1.xdelta, and click on Apply patch. Once done, repeat the same process with the second disc, and replace the two .cue files with those available in the patch.

If a window called wxWidgets Debug Alert appears while using the program to patch, just press cancel to ignore it; it will still work the same way.

2- Can I play on my cell phone?
A: Yes, use the yabasanchiro emulator for this, or retroarch with the yabasanchiro core.

3- Will you translate the game's sequel?
A: Probably yes, everyone on the team loves the franchise and would love to see the rest of Ogami's journey in Portuguese, but as translating a game, especially an old one, is a difficult task, we can't promise anything.

4- Using the mednafen emulator, the game's minigames are glitched. How can I fix it?
A: Well, to solve this, it's quite simple; you need to keep the game file names as SAKURA_CD1.bin and SAKURA_CD2.bin.

5- Is there a way I can support you guys?
A: Well, there are two ways: by spreading the word about our translation to more people, or by buying the new Sakura Wars game for PS4 to support the franchise, so that Sega doesn't leave it forgotten for over 10 years again and re-releases the classic games for modern platforms.

Optional = If you use the mednafen emulator to play, you can create an m3u file to make it easier when switching discs.
In other emulators, you'll have to switch discs manually.
